BACK+ LEG+ HANDS = ALL ACHING.
Standard Chartered Marathon
was indeed WORSE than the Osim Marathon.
In terms of how they work and arrange this marathon.
Osim marathon took care of our welfare more than Standard Chartered :X
Our Group was Drink Station 11 - What we had to do was just to give drinks to the runners.
Sounds easy, but apparently its not.
Took the shuttle bus at Jurong East MRT station to Padang at 11.30pm.
Met up with Debbie there & there was one Indian guy walking towards us and he said something but we cant catch. He said something that sounded like "BUS" so we thought he wanted to ask us for directions hence we pointed to the bus interchange. But he said No and continued talking... Then we heard something that sounded like " MONEY" but his pronounciation was " MARRRRNEH"
Then he started walking closer and closer to both of so we just " no no no" and ran to the shuttle bus pick up point.
HAHAHA but after that we figured that he was saying the wanted money to take bus. I'm not racist, its just that he started walking so close to us, we found it weird so we ran awayyyyyy :D
Reached Padang around 1am and had registration. This year's shirt is ugly ): & like Marilyn said, it feels so thin like paper ! Of all colours, why grey?
After registration was just changing of shirt and queueing up at your allocated groups. We had to wait for hours so we got so bored and started crapping , laughing about nonsensical stuff.
One would be about Kelvin making advertisments for Courts/harveynorman. Kelvin would make loads of money for them just for that advertisment, guess why?
- Its because when his face appear, the TV screens will start cracking and people will have to buy new TV from this shops HAHA .
Next we saw people taking photos from the hotels near the padang. So Kelvin was like acting " posing " for the camera. So we said " Cant see you lah! Even if they can , the camera screens will break" HAHAHAHA rather mean eh ? But its fun !
Later on we were given Beehoon which was freaking oily ! All of us ate a few mouths of it and threw it awayyyy to feed the bin instead.
After that i cant remembered what happened when Joan was about the HI-5 Alcina. Then Alcina did the "jellyfish" thing i think but i cant see/hear clearly so i said " what did they do? Jellyfiseeeee?" try pronouncing that, thats wad i said. So kelvin gave the stun look and thought he heard wrongly . Only when debbie laughed , he started laughing too HAHAHAH.
At around 3am, we decided to go somewhere else & found a place to sit and rest. There were loads of chairs that but they made us stand instead -.-
Me & deb Started laughing at some Japanese Gatsu Game video that we watched when 100 ( Hundred ) was said as -> " Ten Ten Ten Ten Ten Ten Ten Ten Ten Ten " ( 10 Tens)

When our bus was about to come, we went back to our groups & i saw Nurul & Sal there too !:D
They were in grp 12 which was farrrrrrrrr away .
For 5 or 6 hours, we were stoning at first, until the race was about to end when a marathon seems like a walkathon instead because there was no space for those people to run at all.
They were fighting for drinks especially 100PLUS and we had to rush to fill up those cups.
We were running out of 100plus at that time !!!
That dam kelvin was like " EH MORE 100PLUS PLEASE "
" MORE EMPTY CUPS , CUPS !!! "
" 100PLUS , I NEED !!! "
& he got so nuts that he started throwing the 100plus bottles backwards and it hit me when i wanted to pass him the cups he wanted -.-
Seriously, most of the 100plus bottles on the ground were thrown by him hahahahahaha .
When the whole thing ended, we hard to pick up the mountains of cups on the ground. So much that u cant even imagine. Alright, imagine millions of people throwing 2 cups each on the ground, thats the amount of cups WE HAD TO PICK UP. WTF RIGHT?! we didnt have to do this at the OSIM CIP you know !
& the food provided by the OSIM CIP was MUCHHHHH better, by a hundred over times. Serious. Omg i still think osim marathon is better because they took care about our welfare ! they gave us chairs to sit too HAHAHAHA .
The whole thing was damn hard to survive. Right after the thing ended, it was at 12pm.
But when we said the word "yesterday" , it felt like damn long ago.
The whole CIP volunteer thing felt like a torture camp, so tired.
I was so tired that I collasped on my bed right after i showered and wash by muddy + 100plus dirty shoe. & i only woke up today morning at 9am.
hahahah a total of 18hours of sleep, the highest record ive set for myself.
Okay, i feel like sleeping again hahaha.
But, i shall be gd and start doing homework.
Another CIP tomorrow @ paragon!
